Lemons and Loneliness

So I'm still unsure of what I want this blog to be. I'm even unsure of the name "Easy Squeeze." The smart ones (or the fans of Disney movies) that have seen "The Greatest Game Ever Played" may think the name sounds familiar. Josh Flitter's character, 10 yr. old Eddie Lowery said the phrase "Easy peazy, lemon squeezy" after Francis Oimet hole a putt. I simply dropped the "peazy, lemon." Anyway, don't stress too much about the name. Its just name. O.K., so nobody was stressing about the name in the first place except me.

I spent another lonely weekend in Cookeville. My roommates have left me stranded here every weekend. I should probably go home too because I don't really do anything here on the weekends, but for some reason I want to "experience" the remainder of my college days. The brightside of having slow lonely weekends is that leaving shouldn't be so difficult. I think I'm down to about seven weeks left. I guess I should be excited.

For now that's all you get. Don't be too excited its over, and don't tell your friends my blog is boring even if it is or that I am boring even if I am.

Until next time.

Paper Squares Needed

As my first blog on this site blogger.com, I feel it appropriate to speak of other firsts. Today, because the action could not be avoided, I stole (let's say "borrowed" with no plans to return) a roll of toilet paper from the school library. Fortunately I avoided a catostrophic slip when I stepped in a small puddle on the way to stall 3, but I'm sure the bad karma will reach me soon enough. Some of you (the guys especially) are probably bewildered that I could possibly be a Senior, yet have only stolen/borrowed this one roll when a majority make this a common practice. Well, I'll explain. I simply don't like the paper that the school purchases. I don't think one could even consider it 1 ply. Its more like half-ply or quarter-ply. However, thievery was the only logical option. I had a very busy weekend and couldn't make time. I had to watch the second half of the first season of "Lost." That takes longer than you think when you consider the Final episode is actually a "2 hr. special." Ok...yes I could have purchased a roll or eight earliar in the week when I made my trip to Algood Wal-Mart, but I bought the last eight rolls (I'm talking double-ply). Its not my turn!
